Women's Winter Sweaters Make A Fashion Statement!

When winter comes I don't want to lose my fashion sense. I don't want to have to bundle up in a heavy winter coat too soon, so I like to layer my clothes as long as I can. I'll often wear a cotton shirt under a women's winter seater and a lightweight wool jacket. Layering with a wool or cashmere sweater means I don't have to break out my winter coat quite as soon. A lightweight cashmere sweater also gives a wonderful burst of color peaking out under a jacket.
There are many different styles of women's winter sweaters to choose from. I personally like sweater sets, or what are sometimes called twinsets. They're a perfect fashion statement used together and can really extend your wardrobe when used separately. A sweater set with a sleeveless or short sleeved sweater under a cardigan gives you a sweater to wear during the warmer months too. Twinsets work very well when paired with more dressy or business attire. If you know what style of women's wool sweater you're looking for you could look for that particular style. An example winter sweater styles are twin set, v-neck, round neck, turtle neck, cardigan, mock turtle neck or polo neck.
Perhaps you want a cashmere or wool sweater. The softest type of wool sweater would be cashmere. If you were looking for a cashmere sweater you could even choose Scottish cashmere. As cashmere is a delicate fiber you may see lots of cashmere and wool combinations as wool gives the cashmere more heft and durability.
Wool sweaters are very popular in the winter. Wool will keep you nice and toasty warm. You can find women's wool sweaters from hundreds of sources. If you do a simple online search you'll come up with over two million results! J. Crew, Ann Taylor, Talbots, Orvis, L.L. Bean are some of the more popular well known stores, however many other sellers come up on an online search for sweaters.
Some of the most popular women's wool sweaters are Icelandic wool sweaters. Icelandic wool sweaters comprise many different patterns and colors. There are many find manufacturers of Icelandic sweaters such as Nordic Highlands, Northern Lights, Rosemaling and Lapland.
Looking for a youthful sweater, something a bit on the sexy side? Check out the sweater selection from Victoria's Secret. Actually one of my very favorite sweaters came from Victoria's Secret, it's a boyfriend sweater. Victoria's Secret has a line of cropped women's sweaters, some with keyhole fronts to show a bit of cleavage. They have a boucle cowl neck, boucle v-neck, boucle crop hoodie and boucle swing cardigan.
Another very popular type of sweater is the cable knit sweater. You can find them in many styles, from pullover to cardigan to zip front cardigan.
