Stylish Women's Winter Hats

When winter arrives it would be easy for our fashion sense to go downhill. When we have to keep ourselves bundled up against the elements we need to sharpen our fashion sense to stay fashionable. One way to stay fashionable and warm is with a women's winter hat. Luckily there are lots of women's hats to choose from. I figure that if I'm going to have to ruin my hair under a hat I'm going to do it with style!
Whether you want a suede or shearling hat, a wool knit or felt hat it's easy to find them online. One of my favorite hat designers is Helen Kaminski. I've got quite a few of her summer/spring hats. Her winter hat selection is just as wonderful. The Helen Kaminski Collection of hats includes a wonderful selection of stylish and warm wool melange, boiled wool and tweed women's hats for winter. Bucket hats are a very popular type as they basically fit everyone. Try a knit bucket hat from e4hats. They have a knit bucket hat that's perfect as it sits very tight to the crown of your had and has a 2" brim which will keep you insulated from the cold. How about a shearling or sheepskin hat? Nothing is quite as warm. One of the most widely popular sheepskin and shearling hats are crown hats that have a band of shearling around them to keep you warm.
Rabbit fur hats are another very popular type of hat. Rabbit fur hats are lightweight and warm and come in many different styles such as women's bomber or aviator bomber hats. If you insist on high style hats check out the offering from designer Eric Javits. You can find Eric Javits hats at department stores like Nordstrom and Bloomingdales. You can check them on his site where he calls them high end designer hats. He offers a velvet Fedora with an embossed croc band as well as a classic tam. His most stylish is the Bow Cloche which has a pinned back brim and is perfect pulled way down over the ears.We don't want to forget the wide array of winter hats you can find at local stores like Marshall's, TJ Maxx, and Kohl's.
Women's winter hats are a wonderful fashion accessory especially when paired with an attractive cashmere or pashmina scarf and your favorite leather gloves.
Don't forget that another important reason to wear a winter hat is to protect yourself from the harmful rays of the sun! Just because it isn't warm doesn't mean that you're not getting the same rays as you would in the summertime.
